  • Mastering the wellness balancing act for WOMEN:

Looking back, looking ahead, and taking the lead!

  • Date
  • Friday, 14 August 2020
  • Time
  • 11:00 – 12:00

Finding a happy medium between work and life has always been more than a balancing act. Enter 2020, with COVID-19 and the preventative health measures in place, you’ll find most of us have been required to adapt (rather quickly) to not only new ways of living, but also new ways of working.

What does this mean for women in this new workplace? How do you cope with working remotely, possibly from home—having to juggle deliverables, life, family responsibilities? We all know someone infected or affected, and as infection rate statistics keep rising, it’s coming closer to home. How do you prepare yourself?

  • Webinar Title
  • What is inclusion in higher education internationalisation?
  • Date
  • Thursday, 30 July 2020
  • Time
  • 15:00 – 16:00

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic in South Africa, the question of inclusion in higher education has been highlighted, particularly in the context of campus closures and the provision of online teaching and learning. Against this backdrop, the webinar provides an opportunity for deeper engagement with the notion of inclusion by creating a platform for reflection and critical discussion on what inclusion in higher education internationalisation is.

Participants will be able to deepen their understanding of inclusion and increase their awareness of how it relates to institutional practices in higher education internationalisation.

HE internationalisation practitioners and researchers, especially those with little or no prior knowledge of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI).
